Michelle Bermingham, M.D., has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the Ophthalmology Department at Wenatchee Valley Medical Center and has been with the organization since 2010.

To qualify for certification, Dr. Bermingham had to meet a series of accredited medical training requirements in ophthalmology. Further, she completed a rigorous evaluation process including written and oral exams.

Dr. Bermingham earned her medical degree from Laval University in Quebec City, Canada, and subsequently completed a residency in emergency medicine through Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners in affiliation with Michigan State University. This was followed by a ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University/Ochsner Health System in New Orleans.

In addition to her newest credential, Dr. Bermingham is certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
