Dr. R. Thomas Bergman of Wenatchee Valley Medical Center was recently elected as a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. Dr. Bergman is certified in general and vascular surgery and has been with WVMC since 2006.

Founded in 1947, the Society for Vascular Surgery is made up of 3,000 members who have achieved high standards in medical treatments, research and continued education in new science, medical procedures, and surgery. It is the largest professional society dedicated to the advancement of excellence and innovation in vascular health.
